  GOM Workshops:
The NASA Stennis Space Center Applied Science Coastal Program is sponsoring two workshops in 2008 to guide development of a 3-5 year Strategic Plan. NASA is seeking feedback from the Gulf of Mexico coastal management community to determine which issues are important to the region over the next few years. The overarching purpose of the Applied Sciences Program is to discover and demonstrate innovative applications of NASA Earth science research and technology and to maximize the benefits to society of the nation’s investments in the NASA Earth science research program.
